Gibson Reissues the ES Supreme with Modern Tweaks

Share

“The ES Supreme maintains the comfortable feel of the classic ES-335.”

Gibson has brought back the ES Supreme, adding a new chapter to the legacy of the iconic ES-335. This new model follows the Les Paul and SG Supreme releases from earlier in 2024.

Building on a Legend:

The ES-335 is known for its versatility, making it a perfect fit for various genres. The ES Supreme takes that foundation and adds some modern touches.

Elevated Aesthetics:

The Supreme comes in three finishes – Bourbon Burst, Blueberry Burst, and Seafoam Green – available at Gibson dealers. For a more exclusive look, Gibson.com offers a Royal Tan two-pickup model and an Ebony three-pickup version. All models feature AAA-grade figured maple tops and Super Split Block mother-of-pearl neck inlays.

Enhanced Playability and Tone:

The ES Supreme maintains the comfortable feel of the classic ES-335 with its mahogany neck with a rounded C profile and compound-radius ebony fretboard. Push/pull volume controls with coil tapping expand the guitar’s sonic palette, allowing players to switch between single-coil and humbucker tones. Burstbucker Rhythm Pro and Lead Pro pickups offer a range of versatile tones.

Two and Three Pickup Options:

The ES Supreme comes in two and three pickup configurations, catering to players with different tonal preferences. Each model includes a hardshell case for protection.

A Modern Classic:

With its updated features and classic playability, the ES Supreme aims to become a new standard for versatile semi-hollow guitars.
