Harley Benton has unveiled updated versions of its DC-Custom II and DC-Custom II 612 electric guitar models.
The single-necked DC-Custom II features a meranti body with a set meranti neck and a roasted jatoba fretboard with trapezoid inlays. The C-shaped neck offers smooth playability with 24 medium jumbo Blacksmith stainless steel frets.
The guitar is equipped with Tesla TM VR-Nitro Alnico-5 humbucker pickups for a range of vintage-inspired tones. Additional features include a graphite nut, DLX gold hardware, a DLX Tune-O-Matic bridge, and Grover tuners. The DC-Custom II is priced at $249 US comes in cherry and white finishes.
The DC-Custom II 612 double-neck guitar runs around $549 and features twelve-string and six-string necks. The construction mirrors the DC-Custom II with some variations in pickups. The six-string neck utilizes Tesla TM VR-60 Classic Alnico-5 pickups, while the twelve-string neck is powered by twin Tesla Opus-G1 Alnico-5 pickups. Similar to the DC-Custom II, the DC-Custom II 612 is offered in cherry and white finishes and includes a case.
