30-minute-long Chelsea Wolfe Tour Documentary with live performances and rare interviews

Eclectic, experimental, and transcendent songwriter and guitarist Chelsea Wolfe will release a remix EP titled Undone on Aug. 30. The six-song EP features reimagined tracks from her latest album, She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She, with contributions from a range of artists including ††† (Crosses), Deftones, Full of Hell, Justin K Broadrick (Godflesh), and Boy Harsher.

Wolfe said the EP was inspired by the album’s thematic focus on transformation. “I called in some artists I really respect to expand upon the sonic universe we created with Dave Sitek and it’s been such a treat and delight to hear each song come back transformed!” she said. Listen to an example of the colorful transformation process in the Boy Harsher remix of “House of Self Undoing.”

And check out this remix of “Tunnel Lights” by †††, featuring vocals from Chino Moreno (Deftones). The track mutates the original’s skittering trip-hop progressions into a harrowing duet colored with industrial percussion.

Wolfe’s She Reaches Out album has received critical acclaim beyond the hard rock and metal communities. New Yorker describing the album as “gothic sounds and themes beyond the boundaries of genre.”

The band’s tour to support of the album includes an October show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre supporting Wardruna. The shows will be followed by a European tour.

The Undone EP tracklist:

  • Dusk (Ash Koosha Remix)
  • Eyes Like Nightshade (Full of Hell Remix)
  • House of Self-Undoing (Boy Harsher Remix)
  • Everything Turns Blue (Justin K Broadrick Remix)
  • Whispers In The Echo Chamber (Forest Swords Remix)
  • Tunnel Lights (††† Remix)

For those who haven’t seen it, the Chelsea Wolfe She Reaches Out Tour Documentary (posted above) is a high-quality, behind-the-scenes look at Chelsea Wolfe’s 2023 North American tour. It features interviews with Wolfe and her bandmates, as well as footage from the tour.

In the documentary, Wolfe discusses her creative process and how it has evolved over the years and talks about the importance of her fans and how they have helped her to grow. The doc includes live footage of “Harry,” “The Killing Floor,” and “The Highwayman.”
