Slash Releases Soundtrack of Music He Wrote for Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights

Share

For the past six years, Slash has written music for the annual Halloween Horror Nights celebration at Universal Studios Hollywood. Now, he has compiled his compositions into the limited edition vinyl album SLASH Music Of Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights, and Slash has signed a limited number of copies. But don’t look for the record at Walmart or Target. The album is exclusively available at the theme park between now and November 3.

“As a longtime horror fan and Halloween Horror Nights enthusiast, I was excited to collaborate with Universal Studios Hollywood,” says Slash. “Similar to how music enhances a film, I composed this score to evoke a sense of emotional terror inspired by these iconic monsters.”

Each year, Slash has composed the original music for the “Universal Monsters” haunted house, one of the park’s most popular attractions. This year’s celebration, “Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines,” features a battle between classic female monsters such as the Bride of Frankenstein and Dracula’s Daughter. The haunted house is located within the historic Sound Stage 12, the original filming site for classic horror films, including “Dracula” and “Frankenstein.”

The soundtrack features 11 original tracks loaded with Slash’s hard rock riffs and haunted, BOO-sy melodies. The guitarist co-wrote the album with Stacey Quinealty, who produced the project and provided additional instruments and vocals.
