Talking Heads Re-Release of Debut Album Includes Previously Unreleased Live Version of “Uh-Oh, Love Comes to Town”

Talking Heads will release a super deluxe edition of their 1977 debut album on November 8.

The Talking Heads: 77 Super Deluxe Edition includes a remastered version of the original album, a collection of rarities, and a live recording of the band’s final performance at CBGB on October 10, 1977.

The rarities disc features a previously unreleased live version of “Uh-Oh, Love Comes to Town,” the band has announced. The set will also include alternate versions of “Psycho Killer” and “Pulled Up,” as well as an acoustic version of “Psycho Killer” featuring Arthur Russell.

The live disc features 13 previously unreleased songs from the CBGB show.

The Super Deluxe Edition is housed in a lift-top box and includes an 80-page hardcover book with liner notes from the band members and unseen photos.

A standard black vinyl 2LP version, a neon green vinyl 2LP version exclusive to Barnes & Noble, and a 3-CD/Blu-ray version will also be available.

The Blu-ray disc in the 3-CD/Blu-ray version includes a new Atmos mix, 5.1 mixes, and the 2024 stereo remaster of the album.
