Keeley Electronics has blown the lid off the experimental effects universe with its latest pedal, the OCTA PSI Transfigurating Fuzz. This innovative device, which was three years in the making, combines a pitch-shifter, octave generator, and analog fuzz into a single, versatile unit.
The OCTA PSI offers guitarists a wide range of sonic possibilities. Its polyphonic octave and pitch shifter features three modes: Up, Down, and Dual. These modes allow for the creation of various harmonic intervals, including power chords, stacked fourths, and diminished chords. The pedal also includes a momentary mode for dive-bombs and wild multi-octave bends, as well as an adjustable ramp speed for creatively timed pitch bending.
The analog fuzz circuit in the OCTA PSI is designed to deliver a massive, sustained sound. It features a three-way tone switch that allows users to sculpt the perfect fuzz tone. The pedal’s flexible output configuration enables users to switch between All Wet or Wet/Dry blend with a simple double-tap of the Blend control. Additionally, the OCTA PSI offers both momentary and latching octave/pitch options, providing users with complete creative control.
The OCTA PSI is housed in a durable aluminum enclosure and is available at a special introductory price of $249.00.
