Kramer Updates Classic Guitars with Player-Friendly Features

Kramer Guitars, known for their high-performance electric instruments, announced updates to six models across their Original and Modern Collections. The refreshed guitars aim to provide players with a mix of classic Kramer features and modern playability.

Kramer 84: Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the Kramer 84 gets a visual refresh with a headstock that matches the body finish and a new Kramer USA Eruption T humbucker designed by Gibson’s Jim DeCola. The guitar retains its lightweight alder body, Floyd Rose tremolo system, and comes in a variety of finishes including Intruder Black Satin and Bumblebee Yellow Satin. Prices start at $1,299.

Nite-V: A favorite of metal guitarists like Charlie Parra, the Nite-V gets a mahogany body with string-through construction and a thermally aged maple neck with a K-Speed SlimTaper profile. It features a pair of Kramer USA Eruption pickups and comes in Royal Blue Metallic and Crimson Metallic finishes for $1,499.

Pacer Carrera: This limited-run model from the 1980s makes a comeback with a choice of Ebony or Defender Red finishes. It boasts a Seymour Duncan pickup set, Floyd Rose tremolo, and a satin-finished maple neck for fast playing. The Pacer Carrera starts at $1,099.

Assault Figured: Originally launched as the Kramer Custom in 2000, the Assault gets a figured maple top and a three-piece thermally aged maple neck with a K-Speed SlimTaper profile. The mahogany body is equipped with a pair of Kramer USA Eruption humbuckers and a Floyd Rose tremolo system. The Assault Figured starts at $1,399 and comes in Caribbean Blue Perimeter and Magenta Perimeter finishes. An exclusive Jet Black Metallic version is available online only.

Jersey Star: A mainstay of the Kramer lineup since the 1980s, the Jersey Star gets a refresh with gold hardware, a three-piece maple neck with an elliptical C profile, and a trio of Kramer USA Neptune humbuckers with coil-splitting options. The alder body features a mother-of-pearl star inlay to match the headstock. The Jersey Star starts at $1,599 and comes in White Pearl and Black Pearl finishes.
